The primary functions of the Engineering Department are to provide engineering services to infrastructure planning, development and construction for the District. Subdivision and Development Control Bylaw # 1767 is the main procedural manual with which this is accomplished. Staff defines the need, analyses of demand, develops, administers and monitors engineering plans for traffic circulation, water supply and distribution, road networks, sanitary sewer collection and treatment, and storm drainage for on-going operations and new Developments for the District.
