The Human Resources Department has implemented the Leadership Development Program to develop leaders within the District of Squamish.  These ten one-day sessions follow a format where participants come together for comprehensive learning sessions.  The program has been designed to be developmental in nature and participants will learn, work, explore, and experiment over the duration of the program.  Participants who successfully complete all learning sessions will be awarded with a District of Squamish Leadership Development Certificate.

As an organization we strive to continually update employee training, where applicable, in areas of Occupational First Aid ~ Level One, Harassment Awareness, Handling Workplace Harassment, Customer Service, Safety Inspection Techniques, etc.
