Squamish Fire Rescue is looking for volunteer firefighters to join a highly trained and dedicated team. If you reside in Squamish, are interested in joining a dynamic team and are willing to make a minimum three-year commitment to this community service, we would like to hear from you.

October 21 at 7pm - 8:30 pm
November 4 at 7pm - 8:30 pm
Squamish Fire Rescue is a composite department of volunteers and career firefighters and an industry leader in both training standards and customer service.
Applicants will be invited to participate in a selection process involving interviews, physical and mechanical testing.
Successful candidates will begin a 6-month training program starting in January 2011 in accordance with the Justice Institute of B.C. Fire Academy module certification system. Training sessions will be held weekly and will include drills that may be physically demanding and require home study.
