Squamish reduced its electricity consumption by 1.49 percent during Earth Hour, finishing second in the Corridor Challenge.

Squamish reduced its electricity consumption by 1.49 percent during Earth Hour which is equivalent to turning off 22,000 15-watt compact fluorescent bulbs.

Whistler finished in first place in the Corridor and tied for third overall in BC by reducing consumption by 4.35 percent.

While being down .4 percent over the course of the day, Pemberton consumption was up close to 2 percent during Earth Hour.
