Curbside Recycling Begins January 5, 2009

Curbside Bi-weekly recycling begins the week of January 5, 2009. This service will be bi-weekly pick up of recyclable materials from the curbside for all dwellings that currently receive curbside residential garbage pickup.

The new 65-gallon recycling totes are currently being delivered to all residential houses that currently have curbside garbage pick up. 

This new service will be bi-weekly pickup of recyclable materials from the curbside for all dwellings that currently receive curbside residential garbage pickup.  The service will include Cardboard, Boxboard, Mixed Papers, Plastic (rigid #’s 1 – 5 and plastic bags) and domestic metals (tin and aluminum cans).  Glass will not be part of the recycling program.  A glass bin will be set up at Carney’s Waste System at 38950 Queensway.
