Squamish, BC – The District of Squamish has awarded MMK Consulting Inc a contract to conduct a Socio-Economic and Fiscal Impact Study regarding the Garibaldi at Squamish project. The information from this study provides the District of Squamish fundamental information to help determine the impact and implications the approval of the project will have on the District of Squamish.
“More information was needed for Council to understand how it would change and impact our community socially and financially,” said Mayor Greg Gardner. “The District took the lead to have this study commissioned and funded by the development company,” continued the Mayor.
