Dewatering Set-up (July 5th to July 26th)
Single lane alternating traffic (daytime).
Regular two-way traffic (evening)
No parking on District of Squamish road shoulders.
Bike lane on west side of the road is closed.
Foot traffic to use the east side of Government Road.
Phase 2
Sanitary Main installation and Continuation of Dewatering
(July 26th to completion)
North bound one-way traffic on Government Road from Mamquam Road to
Garibaldi Way. Construction to take place 24 hours a day until
construction is completed
in that zone.
Note: Bus stops will be relocated.
Local Traffic Only
Project Overview: A large section of the existing main sewer line on
Government Road is being replaced with a larger line to accommodate
future flows and allow the District to eliminate an old pump station.
The new pipe installation is between Mamquam Road and Harris Road.
