Update on the Government Road Sewer Project.

This project involves the construction of approximately 1 km of a large sewer line that will eliminate an aging pump station and provide capacity for anticipated growth in the community. Construction started a couple of months ago and is scheduled to wrap-up in early November.

In order to install the sewer line, it is necessary to close a portion of Government Road in both directions between Garibaldi Way and Harris Road for the remainder of the construction project.  Residents north of the construction site, please use Highway 99 to travel south, and vise versa. 

Greyhound Bus Station and the Shady Tree Pub can be accessed from Government Road, via Garibaldi Way. The Brackendale Bean, the Nest, Republic Bike Shop,the Watershed Grill and all other businesses in Brackendale can be accessed via Depot Road.
