BRENNAN PARK ARENA ROOF REPLACEMENT - 2009

Sealed tenders clearly marked Tender No. V08-013 SP/RS Brennan Park Arena Roof Replacement - 2009 will be received at the District of Squamish Municipal Hall, reception desk, 37955 Second Avenue, Squamish, BC no later than 10:00 am local time, Wednesday April 01, 2009.   Public opening of Tenders will be 10:10 am on this date.

There will be a mandatory pre-submission site visit at Brennan Park Recreation Centre, 1009 Centennial Way, Squamish, BC on Thursday March 19 at 1:00pm.

Contractors must be active members of RCABC Roofing Contractors Association of B.C.  Proposals received from Contractors who are not active members of RCABC Roofing Contractors Association of B.C. will not be considered.

The scope of work includes removal and disposal of the existing 30,411 sq ft. (approximately) built-up roof membrane with pea gravel, the installation of roofing system including all warranties and guarantees related to the specifications by IRC Building Sciences BC Inc. The Contractor shall be responsible for site verification of all roof measurements, obtaining and providing all labour, materials, plant, equipment, permits, certifications and approvals necessary to complete the Work.

The work must be completed no later than July 25, 2009.

Tender documents including IRC Building Sciences BC Inc specification package will be distributed at the mandatory site visit.  A non-refundable payment of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) per set (GST included) is required, payable to the District of Squamish.
