Squamish BC – District of Squamish Mayor Greg Gardner launched a communication initiative entitled the “Mayor’s Email List” at the Squamish Chamber of Commerce luncheon held Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at the Executive Suites Garibaldi Springs Golf Resort. Mayor Gardner, guest speaker at the luncheon, addressed communication during his speech and took the opportunity to launch the “Mayor’s Email List.” This communication initiative invites residents to sign up to receive informative emails on issues and events regarding the District of Squamish.

“Communications is key in educating the public on concerns and issues that affect the community and the people of Squamish directly,” said Mayor Greg Gardner. “It is both about communicating accurate information to the public and encouraging members of the community to provide feedback,” continued Mayor Gardner.
