Squamish youth will be provided with free transit on the bus for the summer months of July and August in efforts to encourage a healthy lifestyle of being active and taking transit.
"Offering free transit to youth this summer is one way of promoting our transit system and one way to encourage the habit of taking the bus. The District is committed to improving Squamish Transit with increased service.
The passes are available at Squamish Municipal Hall and Brennan Park Recreation Centre. Youth must be 18 years and younger. Children under 5 already ride the bus for free.
