BC Parks through the Conservation Office advised they were unsuccessful in their attempts to locate the cougar on the closed trails (see news story below for the closed trails list) and have had reports of sightings on other trails within Squamish.

Trails in the Alice Lake area are reopened however, please be diligent when travelling on our trails, avoid travelling by yourself and be aware of your surroundings. It is not advised to run, walk or ride while listening to your headphones.
