The District of Squamish is proposing to make sundry amendments to the current District of Squamish Zoning Bylaw No. 1342, 1995.The intent of these amendments is to create a document which is clear, concise, and user friendly. Proposed changes include amendments to definitions and regulations as well as formatting to aid in the general ‘usability’ of the bylaw. Illustrations and visual aids will be included where needed. The amendments are also intended to better reflect the direction of the District’s policies, including the Official Community Plan and the DRAFT Downtown Neighbourhood Plan.

An informal presentation will begin at: 6:30 p.m. followed by breakout discussions.
The meeting is being held in compliance with District of Squamish policy. District staff and consultants will present details of the proposed amendments, receive input from members of the community, and respond to questions.
This is not a Public Hearing. Council will receive a report from staff relating to the issues raised at the meeting and will formally consider the application at a later date.
