District of Squamish GIS

What is GIS? Geographic Information Systems use maps to manage and convey information more effectively. Unlike traditional paper based maps, GIS ties the location of features to information rich databases - allowing for a more meaningful experience for the user and a more efficient use of resources.
The Squamish GIS Map Viewer provides the ability to search for features based on a variety of criteria. Query those features to find out additional information about them or view associated linked documents. Use the tools to interact with features on the map and create your own maps and reports.
