The District is hiring a casual/on-call Recreation Facility Attendant II to operate, maintain, repair and clean recreation facility and equipment. This role is responsible for operating ice making, pool filtration, janitorial equipment and minor servicing. You will also respond to emergencies as required to minimize risk of injury and/or damage to render the Facility secure. 

Guard - Temporary Part-Time

Lifeguard 2 - Regular Full-Time

The District of Squamish is hiring for a Regular Full-Time Lifeguard 2. Under the supervision of the Lifeguard 3 and the Recreation Program Coordinator, the Lifeguard 2 performs lifeguarding, instruction, and custodial work and is responsible for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of participants in aquatic activities. The Lifeguard 2 is an aquatic leadership position that requires highly skilled lifeguarding and instructional work as well as the ability to lead, motivate, support and teach coworkers. 


Lifeguard 3 - Regular Full-Time

The District is hiring for a Lifeguard 3, Regular Full Time. Under the supervision of the Recreation Program Coordinator or Recreation Program Specialist, the Lifeguard 3 performs highly skilled lifeguarding and instruction and plays a lead role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of participants in aquatic activities. The Lifeguard 3 is an aquatic leadership position that requires the ability to supervise, train, motivate, support and teach coworkers. In addition, this position supports the work of the Recreation Program Coordinator by assisting in the planning, implementation and operation of recreation programs and services.
