The District of Squamish recognizes the importance of special events to enhance many aspects of resident life, tourism, culture, recreation, and education, as well, to provide economic benefits to the local economy.

As such, the District is requesting public input into the creation of a Special Events Policy to ensure a fair and efficient process for all event producers. We are also requesting input into the development of a broader events strategy to be pursued.
