Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Howe Sound. The remains of tropical storm Ana will move across the BC Coast and into the interior from this afternoon into Tuesday. Wind warnings are in effect and heavy rainfall of 50 to 75 mm is expected.
Please exercise caution around waterways which are already swollen from recent rain. Be aware of high stream flow and possible bank erosion, with a possible rapid rise in water levels with high flow velocity.
